Disneyland is simply Amazing!
Even until 2 days ago, I was still skeptical about this theme park... I mean isn't it going to be just another amusement park? Only difference is the century old little mouse that I grow up with?
Well... Disnelyland is definitely different and unique. They took care of every little detail and it was certainly a wonderful experience. If wish do come true... I wish I can visit every disney park in the world!
We did almost all the rides in Disneyland within 1 & half days and half day at California Adventure park.
Guess who have I taken photo with... Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Tigger, Winnie, Eeyore and Flik, the ant.

2009 quick update
Have not been in the mood to blog for months… other than the fact that I have too many distractions like playing with psp, still learning to blade, slouching on the sofa watching TV programmes and movies with our new 42” plasma TV and getting my hair perm again…
2008 is history and 2009 is left with 10 months. Time flies.
I’m heading to BKK again tomorrow for the next 5 days. Hope I will find some good buys.

QQ Rice
QQ Rice, the healthier choice of fast food. I wanted to try the QQ rice at PS but was turned off by the queue and rather confusing menu. There were about 5 people in the queue ahead of me but all left giving up waiting.
I first had QQ rice outside one of the MRT stations in HK back in Dec 2005. I thought it was such a great idea. It’s convenient, healthy and delicious. They even have healthy drink like soya and some others which I dun recall.
Singapore outlet should package them like HK such that it’s easy to order and quick. Although having a long queue is a sign of popularity (doesn’t really translates to good tasty food), people want their food fast.
Hope the outlet at Novena Square 2 is more appealing.

Cheddar Cheese Muffins
I baked some cheddar cheese muffin yesterday morning. It was surprisingly not bad. The first bite of the muffin tasted ordinary as though it was made from plain flour but the cheese flavor fills my mouth after the second bite.
Aunty Tang, you are a great supporter! Hope your kids loved it too!
Cheddar Cheese muffin recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup plain yogurt
¼ cup melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in cheese gradually and make a well in the centre.
- Whisk together yogurt, butter and egg with dry ingredients.
- Fill muffin cups ⅔ full with batter.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center.
- Remove muffin from cup while hot.
I bought the Handweaved Bamboo Food Cover from Bali many blue moons ago. It comes in 3 different sizes – Diamtr .25cm, 30cm and 35 cm. I’m not even sure if I bought it during that trip with Pig to Sydney/Bali in 2004 or earlier.
Pig, remember our trip? I still have the brochures and itinerary! Too bad I didn’t have a digital cam back than but I shall scan the photos when I’m damn free.
This package was a special promotion by Garuda Indonesia and we booked the trip without much consideration… of cos after failing to book tours to other places like Korea.
Sydney was amazing… I loved the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, the Blue Mountains…
Ok, digressed too much already.
