We had our lunch at Kovan food centre before going down to my mum’s place.
We arrived too late and the famous wanton noodle shop has already closed. The mushroom minced pork noodle looks appealing and quite a number of people are having it so we decided to give it a try.
The mee kia (yellow wheat vermicelli noodles) we ordered looks like a hybrid of mee kia and mee pok (flat yellow wheat noodles).
It was good although I dun really like to texture of the noodle. But the soup was fantastic.
Lately I’m into x’mas décor photo taking and I’m going into the malls. Heartland mall is a rather small compact and crowded shopping centre. The x’mas décor was quite disappointing and they dun really stand out except maybe the white x’mas trees outside.
While on our way to the train station, we saw this bakery outside Cold Storage that sells donut. The donuts look tempting esp the Japanese donut. We bought a box for the boys.
It was horrible. The donut was too dense and the toppings were too sweet. The Japanese donut was also very disappointing.
