Initially we were on our way to Sims Way to have claypot rice that we didn’t get a chance to eat last Monday but half way through our bus journey, we decided to go for the wanton noodle at Lavender food centre than pop over to Golden Mile food centre to have the Belgium chocolate with waffle.
Sigh, the bus stops at Crawford Lane which is nearer to Golden Mile FC and we were quite hungry than and didn’t want to walk all the way to Lavender FC and walk back later. Furthermore, the stretch of Serangoon Road will be infested by bros.
We thought we still can have the Golden Mile claypot rice but it’s already sold out at7.30pm! A lot of people are waiting for their claypot rice to be ready and served.
Plenty of choices but we settle for 宗正肉骨虾面. Yummm… the pork rib is so tender and soup so delicious esp with the red chili powder. Their 辣椒面 or chili mee is also very nice but the chili can be very power.
Next is Belgium chocolate & waffle for dessert. The fruits fondue looks nice but dun seems worth paying for a plate of over priced fruits. I was expecting the chocolate to be a bit bitterer but still it was nice.
We took a bus to Dhoby Ghaut and passed by the basement of the MRT station to PS. Majority of the stalls have been replaced and Just Acia is occupying most of the area. Their set meal looks tempting and it comes with free flow of Cappuccino, soft drinks and ice-cream. There are plenty of seats available. Will definitely come back and try.
For those interested in Monmilk, Carrefour is having promotion now. Buy 1 litre morning breakfast milk (malt or walnut) @ $2.40 and get a 1 litre pack pure Monmilk free.
I bought the Malt flavored Monmilk to try.
