We decided to google for this funny fish and volia! Its call the Alligator Gar aka Short Nose Gar aka Long Tom Gar (in Singapore), scientific name is Lepisosteus spatula. It’s a primitive species and apparently not so uncommon in Singapore. Some people even have it as pets.
This juvenile Alligator Gar could have lived till 75 years.
Similar one found in China.
