Arrived in Bangkok Holiday Inn Hotel, waiting for our Executive Club room to be ready. The check in process here is very personalised and professional... impressive.
Will be going for lunch with James' biz partners and I shall proceed to my shopping!

The Executive Club room is about US155 per night... and the people that are here on business can hardly make time to enjoy the facilites. They are lucky to have me to help them with it. :)
After a sumptous thai lunch (courtesy of the biz partner) at the hotel restaurant, the rest proceed to the customer site while I went back to the room to unpack and check out the surrounding.
Didn't venture far cos I wasted some time watching TV programs and getting comfortable with the bed. I went to Amarin Plaza shopping mall which is right opposite the hotel. The shops are not exciting and pricing is considered expensive by local standard. Security guards were at all entrance scanning bags.
Bought some bath form and hair treatment products from Boots... the last time I bought something from Boots was 10 years ago in UK.
Ordered MacDonald's double fillet set (THB109) to take away, than remembered there is happy hour at the Executive Lounge. So, save Mac for later. Nothing much to snack at the lounge but plenty of various beverages... including beer, wine and champange.
8pm Bangkok time and James is still busy at work. I am going to submerge myself in the bathtub... spa time.
