The Corporate World

Uncle David (Lee) shared his side of agony with regards to my recent interview encounters.

He has been conducting interviews for one executive headcount replacement for months, but suddenly he was told to freeze the headcount.

Uncle David is the guardian of the Company’s brain… nope, not the CEO but the data center! It’s no easy task managing one.

He had to shoulder some of the work left by the staff, and also take on more rubbish thrown down by the “management” who are young punks with outstanding qualifications but limited to zero experience.

A common phenomenon in many companies (esp local ones).

Many capable old timers are willing to take the risk and leave for healthier pastures or become their own boss.

The cruel reality in the corporate world.
